Introduction and Goals


Hoi chummers, this is the 1st posting on this project and honestly i just wanna start with explaining what it is and what it is about so lets skip to that part.

This little project is part of a course under the "multimedia aplications" unit on the Setúbal superior tecnology school's.  We draw our artstyle inspiration from the gameboy advance era of pixal graphics and our mechanical inspiration from games like Dungreed, Rogue Legacy and others.

Our project is a roguelite platformer with emphasis on going FAST and all the tiny little optimizations to player movement and frames per animation that comes with it. It will also feature boss fights and diferent challeges per level (such as a puzzle or a fight with monsters).

Which remindns me i am in fact not working alone, there are 3 other people with me working on monsters, bosses, and the world in general. I myself am working on the main character. Thats right im working what tools YOU the nova-hot player will have to cut a path through the drek my collegues will throw in your general direction.

As for my personall goal, i want to push my developer limits and see how creative i can get in the limited time we are given to work on this,
